Harrison McAvoy advises and represents companies, business owners, and other market participants facing competition-related issues and disputes, including antitrust claims, trade secret misappropriation, data theft, misuse of intellectual property, and claims involving commercially sensitive assets and business relationships. His practice spans a range of industries, with significant experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, technology, financial services, and other highly competitive or regulated markets.

Harrison serves as Co-Chair of Mandelbaum Barrett’s Antitrust Practice and is a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Healthcare Practice Groups.

Harrison has more than a decade of experience litigating complex cases in federal and state courts across the country. His experience includes class actions, multidistrict proceedings, Lanham Act claims, and other complex business litigation. He has substantial experience developing litigation strategy, managing cases through motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation, and working closely with economists and other industry experts.

Harrison represents companies ranging from closely held and middle-market businesses to large national companies. He frequently works directly with business owners, executives, and in-house counsel, including those based in New Jersey. His litigation practice includes disputes with competitors, suppliers, distributors, and customers, among others. In addition to representing clients when disputes arise, he advises them on antitrust and competition issues involving business operations, competitive and commercial relationships, and strategic business decisions.

Early in his career, Harrison served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael A. Shipp of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He also interned with the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Antitrust Bureau of the Office of the New York Attorney General.
