Daniel D. Dauplaise is a civil litigator with broad experience representing clients in state, federal, and international matters. As an Associate at Mandelbaum Barret PC, his practice focuses on labor and employment law, personal injury, and complex civil, commercial, and municipal litigation.

Before joining the firm, Daniel practiced international employment law, advising U.S.-based clients on compliance and dispute resolution involving employees and operations in foreign jurisdictions, primarily across Europe and Latin America. He has successfully represented clients before state and federal courts as well as U.S. Immigration Court.

In addition to his legal practice, Daniel is deeply involved in public service. He previously served on the Stamford Board of Education, where he chaired the Finance Committee, and continues to serve his community as a member of the Board of Stamford Emergency Medical Services, Inc. and the Ferguson Library Annual Fundraising Committee. A 20-year veteran of Stamford’s volunteer fire service, Daniel brings the same commitment and dedication to his legal work that he demonstrates in his civic involvement.

Daniel earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and his B.A. from Cornell University. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He lives in Stamford with his wife, Caroline, and their sons, Jack and Charlie.
