Mandelbaum Barrett PC Partners Casey Gocel and Joshua Bauchner united forces across multiple disciplines to secure a favorable resolution for a client avoiding a contentious litigation.
The client was a partner in a dental practice with multiple locations in New Jersey. For various reasons, the partnership was not successful, and the firm’s client needed an exit. Unfortunately, the matter quickly escalated and Gocel, who represents hundreds of dental practices as a corporate and transactional attorney, brought in Bauchner as the possibility of litigation reared its ugly head. Gocel knew that the coming days would be “make or break” and wanted a litigator involved from the outset in the event of a “break.” Bauchner quickly got up to speed and joined numerous calls with the client, his advisor, and opposing counsel. This allowed Gocel and Bauchner to advise the client as to both his exposure and any potential claims he might have to ensure he was fully informed as they guided him through his options.
