Craig Alexander, Co-Chair of the firm’s real estate department, handled the multi-million-dollar sale of two industrial buildings in South Jersey.  The buildings had been constructed by a developer, who bequeathed them to a family foundation upon his death.  As the trustees of the Trust were not experienced real estate practitioners and live out of state, Craig had to guide them through the complex and often confusing process involved with selling commercial real estate in New Jersey.  The transaction also involved unexpected environmental, title, tax and leasing issues requiring assistance from the firm’s environmental and tax departments.
