Experienced Trial Attorney and Community Leader Handling Complex Civil, Commercial, and Employment Litigation
Mandelbaum Barrett PC Partner Stephen G. Walko is a third-generation resident of Greenwich, Connecticut. He is a skilled trial attorney whose fair and practical approach yields positive results for his clients in all types of civil and commercial litigation, including personal injury (motor vehicle and construction accidents) and wrongful death matters, as well as real estate transactions and employment law.
In 2008, Governor Rell appointed him to serve as a Public Member of the State Board of Mediation and Arbitration and he currently serves as an arbitrator between a hospital and its union workforce in New York. Stephen previously served as counsel to Indian Harbor Yacht Club and is its current Commodore. Stephen represents several home owner and neighborhood associations within the Town of Greenwich.
He is extremely active in charitable and governmental affairs in the state of Connecticut and the Town of Greenwich. In 2012, he was elected to the Connecticut State Legislature as a State Representative for the 150th District (Greenwich’s Shoreline). From 2008-2011, he served as Chairman of the Greenwich Board of Estimate and Taxation. He has also served as Chairman of the Representative Town Meeting, Budget Overview Committee and Chairman of the Republican Town Committee. Recently, Stephen was the Chair of the Committee responsible for building a new elementary school in Greenwich, and currently serves as Chair of the Greenwich High School Security Vestibule Building Committee.
