Patrick DaSilva is an Associate in Mandelbaum Barrett PC’s Matrimonial and Family Law Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick was an associate at a well-known family law firm in New Jersey. He has also served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Marcella Matos Wilson, J.S.C., in the Essex Vicinage of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part. He has worked on a wide range of pre-judgment and post-judgment matrimonial law matters, including complex equitable distribution, custody disputes and parenting time issues, jurisdictional matters under the UCCJEA and UIFSA, and child and spousal support matters. Patrick also served as a Judicial intern for Judge Wilson prior to his clerkship.

Patrick earned his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law; while in law school, he participated in the Seton Hall Law Center for Social Justice Immigration and Human Rights Clinic. There, he handled immigration cases that additionally overlapped with family law issues. Patrick also competed in the Eugene Gressman Moot Court Competition during his third year in law school. Patrick received his B.S. in Diplomacy and International Relations and his B.A. in Economics from Seton Hall University, graduating magna cum laude.

Patrick is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey. He is a member of the Family Law Section and Young Lawyers Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, as well as the Somerset County Bar Association.
