Liza L. Conselyea is an associate in Mandelbaum Barrett PC’s Banking and Finance Practice Group.
Liza focuses her practice on commercial lending, including commercial and industrial, asset-based lending, factoring and other alternative financing and commercial transactions. Liza has been working at the Firm since May 2022 as a Paralegal while she focused on obtaining her CLE credits after taking a leave of absence from the practice of law.
Prior to attending law school, Liza was a Paralegal at a prominent New York City Law Firm representing banks and other financial institutions in commercial and residential real estate financing transactions. She then graduated from Pace University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude and was published in the International Law Review. Liza was admitted to the practice of law in New Jersey and New York.
After law school, Liza worked as an associate at a well-respected law firm in New York City, primarily focusing on litigation. She then focused on her New Jersey practice, arbitrating cases on behalf of providers not reimbursed by insurance companies. Liza then went on to become in-house counsel for a small corporation, drafting and negotiating consulting contracts with third parties, while at the same time she was committed to raising her family.
