Mandelbaum Barrett PC Counsel Lauren J. McCallion focuses her practice on estate and tax planning, trust and estate administration, and Mediation. She assists clients with the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, health care proxies, and funeral directives, as well as all aspects of estate and trust administration from inception through closing. Her work includes preparing accountings and handling estate tax, fiduciary income tax, and gift tax returns. Lauren also works as a Mediator both privately and for the Westchester County and Rockland County Surrogate’s Courts.

Lauren earned her J.D. from the Pace University Elisabeth Haub School of Law and her B.A. from Muhlenberg College, where she majored in English and Studio Art.

Actively involved in her professional community, Lauren previously served as the Ninth District Representative for the Trust and Estate Law Section Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association and was a member of the Ninth Judicial District Surrogate’s Committee. She also served on the Trust and Estate Section Executive Committee of the Westchester County Bar Association and was the President of the Estate Planning Council of Westchester County for two years.

Lauren lives in White Plains, New York, where she currently serves on the White Plains Conservation Board.
