Gabriella G. Kiniry is a Partner with Mandelbaum Barrett PC, where she focuses her practice on Estate and Tax Planning, Trusts and Estate Administration, and Probate Litigation. She assists clients in developing practical, comprehensive estate plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, living wills, and powers of attorney. Gabriella also represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in the efficient administration and settlement of estates and trusts.

In addition to her estate planning, estate and trust administration work, Gabriella handles a broad range of probate estate and trust litigation matters, including will and trust contests, construction, breach of fiduciary duty claims, fiduciary surcharge claims, financial accounting, conservatorships, and guardianship proceedings.

Gabriella served for many years as a Staff Attorney for the Norwalk and Wilton Probate Courts, where she worked closely with the Hon. Anthony J. DePanfilis on complex probate proceedings and drafted written decisions. She also maintained a private practice focused on trust and estate planning. Her years of experience in both the public and private sector provide a unique perspective and valuable insight into the probate process, allowing her to guide clients through sensitive and contested matters with efficiency and clarity.

Gabriella was selected to serve on the Probate Court Rules Advisory Committee, a distinguished body that works with Probate Administration to review and update the Connecticut Probate Court Rules of Procedure.

An active member of the Fairfield County community, Gabriella provides legal counsel and serves on the Congregational Church of New Canaan’s Board of Trustees. She has also served as a board member, legal counsel, and community outreach liaison for Learning Community Day

School and as a board member of Positive Directions, a nonprofit supporting youth and families in Fairfield County.
