Edward D. Cosden, Jr. is Of Counsel to Mandelbaum Barrett PC where he focuses his practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and real estate matters. With over five decades of experience, he provides thoughtful guidance to individuals and families in structuring and preserving their legacies through strategic planning and administration.
A member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Edward is admitted to practice in Connecticut and has been part of the legal community since joining Ivey, Barnum & O’Mara, LLC in 1972. He earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri.
Deeply committed to community service, Edward has held leadership roles in several civic and nonprofit organizations, including serving as President of the Darien United Way, the Darien Land Trust, and the Darien Library. He has also served on the boards of the Darien Historical Society and numerous municipal commissions related to conservation, environmental protection, and planning.
