Elder Law and Estate Planning Attorney Helping Families Navigate Life’s Most Important Decisions with Clarity and Compassion.

Donna Castronovo has practiced law in her hometown of Greenwich, Connecticut, since 1986, focusing her practice on elder law, estate planning, and residential real estate. As a Partner at Mandelbaum Barrett PC, she provides clients and their families with strategic and compassionate counsel on long-term care planning, Medicaid (Title XIX) qualification, incapacity issues, and the administration of estates and trusts before the Connecticut Probate Courts.

In addition to her elder law practice, Donna advises clients on residential real estate matters, including financing and purchase and sale transactions. She also prepares essential estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and living wills.

A dedicated advocate for education and community service, Donna is a frequent lecturer on elder law topics and previously hosted “Older and Wiser,” a local radio program on AM 1490 WGCH that provided practical guidance on issues affecting older adults and their families. She was the first recipient of the Greenwich Probate Court Pro Bono Certificate of Appreciation for outstanding service to the Court and serves on the Board of Directors of Pathways, Inc., a nonprofit organization supporting adults with severe and chronic mental illness. In 2025, Donna successfully closed a $43.5 million megamansion sale in Greenwich—the largest residential transaction in the area that year.

She earned her Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor degrees from Pace University, where she received the American Jurisprudence Award for Negotiations.
