Cheryl H. Burstein is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Mandelbaum Barrett PC as well as a Partner in the firm. As COO, Cheryl is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm as well as ensuring that all of the systems, resources, and people are in place to achieve the goals set forth by the executive team. Additionally, Cheryl continues to improve operational efficiencies, accelerating innovation and growth through her transformative leadership. She also sits as an ex officio member of the Firm’s Executive Committee.

Prior to becoming COO, Cheryl concentrated her practice on construction-related matters and complex commercial litigation, including business disputes and trust and estate litigation, as well as employment law. She continues to provide legal counsel to clients.

Serving her community has been a cornerstone of Cheryl’s life. In both 2014 and 2017 she was elected a Committeewoman of the Township of Milburn and was honored to serve as Mayor for 2 years. Prior to holding office, she sat on the Millburn Township Zoning Board of Adjustment for eight years. Cheryl sat on the Millburn Township Planning Board and was a Trustee of the Millburn Public Library. She continues to act as counsel to the Millburn Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad on a pro bono basis. Cheryl is fluent in Hebrew.
