Angela is a business-minded corporate lawyer and trusted advisor who guides companies through governance, M&A, and private equity matters, informed by her experience in Big Law, in-house legal departments, and international government service.

Angela H. D’Amato is Counsel in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group, where she advises clients on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity transactions.

She began her legal career at a Wall Street firm and later went on to serve as in-house counsel at The Vanguard Group and Comcast Corporation for nearly a decade. Before joining the firm, Angela worked with the U.S. Department of State, holding roles in American embassies in Paris, Geneva, Papua New Guinea, and Kuala Lumpur.

Angela brings a practical, business-focused approach to her work, with an emphasis on efficiency, collaboration, and strong client relationships.

She earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School and her B.A. from Rutgers University and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
