Aaron M. Katz

Having worked alongside federal prosecutors and civil attorneys at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and represented clients across a broad range of litigation matters, Aaron M. Katz brings a practical and informed perspective to every challenge he handles.

Aaron is an Associate in Mandelbaum Barrett PC’s Litigation Practice Group, where he represents businesses and individuals in commercial litigation, employment disputes, land use matters, and regulatory compliance issues.

Aaron’s litigation experience spans a variety of contested matters, including commercial, employment, land use, and family law disputes. Through this work, he has gained significant courtroom experience representing clients in high-conflict matters involving important business and personal interests. He has also represented property owners in zoning and land use matters, including appellate proceedings involving development and property rights issues.

In addition to his litigation practice, Aaron advises businesses and licensed professionals, including physicians and therapists, on compliance, regulatory obligations, and risk management considerations. This experience allows him to help clients identify and address legal concerns before they develop into disputes.

Before joining Mandelbaum Barrett PC, Aaron practiced at a Connecticut law firm, where he handled complex commercial and employment litigation matters in both federal and Connecticut state courts. He also served as a legal intern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut, where he worked alongside federal prosecutors and civil attorneys on a broad range of litigation matters.

Aaron earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2023. While in law school, he served as Executive Editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law, participated in the Mock Trial Society, and received the CALI Excellence Award in International Environmental Law. He was admitted to practice in Connecticut following graduation.
Before attending law school, Aaron received a B.A. in Political Science and German from the College of the Holy Cross. Following graduation, he taught English in Vienna through the Fulbright Austria U.S. Teaching Assistant Program.

A native of Somers, New York, Aaron recently relocated to Fairfield County, Connecticut. He is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the New Haven County Bar Association.
