Steven Adler, Co-Chair of Mandelbaum Barrett PC’s Litigation, Labor & Employment, and Healthcare Litigation Practice Groups, recently spoke at a ceremony in The Hague recognizing a Dutch family for their extraordinary bravery during World War II.

At the event, Yad Vashem formally honored the family as Righteous Among the Nations for sheltering Steven’s mother and grandparents in their attic from 1943 to 1945. Their actions helped save lives during one of history’s darkest periods.

A plaque will be placed at the museum in Jerusalem to commemorate their courage and humanity.

This recognition serves as a powerful reminder of the impact of moral conviction and the importance of preserving these stories for future generations.
