New Jersey’s Division of Taxation is reaffirming its commitment to the exemption for disabled veterans, effective October 19, 2023. This exemption acknowledges the sacrifices of veterans who have become disabled due to their service. It provides relief from certain tax obligations, easing their financial burden and enhancing their quality of life.
These regulations, now re-adopted under N.J. Admin. Code §§ 18:14, will remain in effect until October 19, 2030. During this period, disabled veterans will continue to benefit from this exemption, reflecting the state’s dedication to providing support and recognition to those who have served our nation.
