With a foundation shaped by her judicial clerkship and distinguished academic achievements at Rutgers Law School (J.D., cum laude) and William Paterson University (B.A., magna cum laude), Marlene brings sharp legal insight and a practical, business-oriented perspective to representing clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing matters.
Marlene Marie Arabia is an Associate in Mandelbaum Barrett PC’s Real Estate Practice Group, where she focuses on assisting clients with purchase and sale transactions, lease negotiations, and other commercial real estate matters. Prior to joining the firm, Marlene served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Catherine I. Enright of the Appellate Division, New Jersey Superior Court, where she developed strong analytical and drafting skills through legal research and motion practice. She also gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk during law school at respected firms, working on a range of complex legal matters that strengthened her ability to evaluate risk and craft strategic solutions for clients.
Marlene earned her J.D., cum laude, from Rutgers Law School in 2022, where she distinguished herself academically and through leadership roles as Managing Editor of the Rutgers Law Record and Treasurer of the Italian-American Law Student Organization. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in Legal Studies and Criminology from William Paterson University. During law school, Marlene also served as a Research Assistant examining topics such as patent disparities and ADA implications. Her perspective on real estate matters is further informed by her prior managerial experience as a Property Manager, where she gained firsthand exposure to operational and transactional aspects of property ownership and leasing.
Outside of her professional work, Marlene is committed to community involvement, volunteering with organizations such as the Bloomingdale Board of Education and participating in initiatives including blood drives. An avid golfer and mixed martial arts enthusiast, she brings to her practice not only diligence and attention to detail, but also energy and enthusiasm.
