Partners Raj Gadhok and Brian Block, alongside their co-counsel, obtained a major victory for their client, an employee of a New Jersey/New York water transportation service company, in a high-stakes federal court case. The client was sued under the False Claims Act and for violations of the Clean Water Act, RICO, and other related claims. Following jurisdictional discovery, the plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed the final Clean Water Act claim against our client with prejudice. And on March 16, 2023, the district court dismissed the final claim against the company with prejudice.
