Purpose of Role:

Join us as an HR Intern and dive into the dynamic world of law firm operations! You’ll be a key player in our HR team, helping with everything from administrative tasks to organizing exciting events. You’ll also get to work across various departments, making your mark on our daily activities. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience, learn the ropes of HR in a lively and flexible environment, and truly make an impact!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee records and update HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interview schedules.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and support the integration of new hires into the firm.
  • Contribute to HR projects, including organizing employee events and updating policies.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, with a focus on effective calendaring and scheduling to ensure smooth HR operations.
  • Assist in preparing for and attending career expos, including organizing materials, setting up booths, and engaging with potential candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in calendaring and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage professionally with staff and external contacts.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to ethical standards.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in managing sensitive documents.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced legal environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge or coursework in legal studies or business law is a plus.

Work Schedule:

The internship requires a commitment of 25+ hours per week. Work can be scheduled for three or four days a week, depending on availability and business needs.
