Susan M. Lee is Of Counsel in the Real Estate Department at Mandelbaum Barrett PC. She represents regional and community banks, commercial finance companies, borrowers, and entrepreneurs and assists clients with complex transactions, negotiation and documentation of loan transactions, real estate financings and transactions, and corporate acquisitions and sales.
Prior to joining Mandelbaum Barrett, Susan’s professional experience included providing a myriad of legal services and analysis to various clients (banking, corporate and community associations) in negotiating and drafting of loan documents, complex construction and service contracts and overseeing major capital improvement financing. Susan has also guided Community Association Boards in governance and compliance under the Radburn Rules and Regulations. Utilizing her experience as a Superior Court of New Jersey Rule 1:40 Qualified Mediator, she has helped guide community associations in resolving disputes with and among unit owners.
Susan had her own long-time private general practice with a heavy emphasis on both commercial and residential real estate, zoning law, and commercial transactions. Throughout her career, apart from a very active real estate practice, Susan has represented clients for SBA financing, liquor license transfers and municipal zoning applications.
In her free time, Susan cares for her bonsai trees. She has also published an illustrated fable entitled Moysterings.
