Karen Chen

Karen Chen is an Associate within the Intellectual Property Practice Group at Mandelbaum Barrett PC. She brings a wealth of knowledge to our team, specializing in intellectual property law and trademark portfolio management.

Karen completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Media, Culture, and Communications at New York University, providing her with a strong foundation for her legal career. She furthered her education by obtaining her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she excelled and earned the distinction of being published in and serving as an articles and notes editor of the Fordham Law Review.

Karen Chen has strategically developed her career by focusing on managing trademark portfolios and assisting businesses in safeguarding their valuable intellectual property rights. Prior to joining Mandelbaum Barrett PC, Karen gained invaluable experience as a summer associate at a boutique law firm specializing in entrepreneurial law, a summer associate in the office of general counsel of VSP Vision, and a legal intern for the National Football League. During this time, she honed her skills in trademark management, licensing, and brand protection.
