Mandelbaum Barrett PC recently secured a significant win for our New York client in a construction contract dispute involving payment for masonry facade repairs to a New York City high rise. The case centered on claims of a mutual mistake regarding the contractually agreed upon cost for additional work under a contract between the building’s owner and a contractor.

Following a bench trial in the Commercial Division, our construction litigation team of Jacky Vogt, Jed Weiss and Joshua Bauchner achieved a favorable result—the court enforced the original agreed-upon price saving our client a substantial amount over the contractor’s demand.

Another example of our commitment to protecting our clients’ interests in complex construction matters!
