Max Weiss is an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group at Mandelbaum Barrett PC. Max represents clients in a wide range of litigation matters, drawing on a background that includes both plaintiff- and defense-side experience.

Prior to joining the firm, Max was a consumer and shareholder advocate at a prominent class action firm, where he helped secure millions in recoveries for investors harmed by corporate misconduct. His experience includes representing both institutional and individual clients in securities litigation, with notable cases such as In re QuantumScape Securities Class Action, where he played a leading role on the team that achieved court approval of a $47.5 million settlement.

Max has substantial experience in all phases of litigation, including investigating and drafting claims, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, working closely with expert witnesses, briefing dispositive motions, and preparing for trial. He also previously worked at a large insurance defense firm, where he defended clients in personal injury and property damage cases.

During law school, Max served as Senior Executive Editor of the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development. He remains an active member of the Colgate University and St. John’s University School of Law alumni communities.
