With a foundation shaped by intensive trial advocacy training and prosecutorial experience in one of the nation’s busiest district attorney’s offices, Luke brings practical courtroom judgment and disciplined litigation strategy to complex commercial disputes.
Luke A. Kushner is an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group, where he represents clients in a wide array of commercial disputes.
Prior to joining the Firm, Luke practiced at a boutique litigation firm, where he gained hands-on experience across a broad range of commercial matters, including land use and zoning. During law school, he interned at both the Queens County District Attorney’s Office and the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. Following graduation, he joined the Kings County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney assigned to the Red Trial Zone. In that role, Luke investigated and prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases, presented more than 150 matters to the grand jury, and conducted witness examinations that helped secure numerous indictments. His work contributed to the resolution of complex cases and the pursuit of justice for victims.
Luke graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Sociology. He earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School, where he was a member of the Trial Team and participated in sports law competitions. Luke was the recipient of New York Law School’s Dr. Max Reich Award for Excellence in Civil Trial Advocacy. He is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut.
