What a powerful and inspiring day at the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges Groundbreaking Ceremony on Monday!

Barry Mandelbaum, Chairman and Peter Tanella, Esq., Corporate Co-Chair at Mandelbaum Barrett PC were honored to be part of the ceremony. Peter also serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges.

We heard from an incredible group of leaders who are shaping the future of our Y community—including Mayor Edward Meinhardt and the Livingston Town Council, Senator John McKeon, Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, and passionate YMCA champions like Stacy Feeney, Cheryl Tuturice, Daniel P. Elwell, Sr., Ed Phillip, Alisa Vural, and Rick Gorab.

This isn’t just about building a 52,000-square-foot facility—it’s about building a promise to deliver health, connection, and opportunity for everyone. From state-of-the-art wellness spaces to inclusive programs and a community kitchen, this YMCA will be a place where all belong and thrive.

👏 Together, we’re not just breaking ground—we’re building a legacy for generations to come.
